What’s the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?
A static code has the web address baked into the pattern, so it can never change. A dynamic code points to a short LinkLeafQR link first. That lets you change where it goes after printing, and see how many people scan it.
Will my code stop working if I don’t pay?
No. LinkLeafQR codes never get switched off for not paying. Free codes keep redirecting forever. Past 50 scans a month, people see a short LinkLeafQR page for a few seconds before they continue. Pro removes that.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
Your codes keep working and keep sending people to the same place. You lose editing, analytics and styling until you upgrade again, and the free plan’s splash page returns once you pass 50 scans a month.
Can I put my logo and colours on the code?
Yes, on Pro. Choose dot and corner styles, colours, a frame with a call to action, and drop your logo in the middle.
What can I see in the scan stats?
On Pro: total scans, time of day, device and browser, country, and trends over time. Export to CSV, set monthly scan goals, and get an email if a code suddenly spikes.
Which kinds of QR code can I make?
Websites, WiFi logins, contact cards (vCard), emails, text messages, plain text, and hosted files like PDF menus and spec sheets. Smart menus can even show a different page at breakfast and dinner.
Where is my data kept?
LinkLeafQR is built and run in the UK. We don’t use ad trackers on scans and we don’t store scanners’ full IP addresses. Payments are handled by Stripe, so your card details never touch our servers.
